Before your child’s procedure.
We know the word “procedure” causes worries. Let us ease your mind.
What's going to happen?
Using a highly precise laser, we quickly and effectively release the tie within 10-15 seconds. There is little to no bleeding or discomfort. Immediately afterward, babies can go to mom and nurse, if needed, and kids can go play! There is no sedation required in most cases.
We do not “snip” or “clip” anything. These methods often fail to offer lasting results and may even worsen symptoms over time.
How should we prepare?
Please have children’s Tylenol, Motrin, or homeopathic remedies of your choice readily available at home. Exact dosage guidance will be provided according to the age and weight of your child during the consultation.
What happens after the release?
We’ll send you home with helpful instructions for aiding your child’s recovery. We also partner with local IBCLCs, SLPs, Chiropractors, and other medical professionals to collaborate for any pre- or post-treatment needs that may arise.
How much does it cost?
Your initial consultation is complimentary. If a release is needed and you decide to move forward, we offer transparent pricing that will cover the cost of all releases, a follow-up visit, and an additional revision to the surgical site in the rare case of re-attachment within a year.
Before your visit, our staff will give you a call and go over the cost specifics so there are no surprises, while also sharing about our 12-month interest-free payment plan.
We are out-of-network and do not process insurance claims on your behalf. We will, however, offer you a comprehensive summary of everything we did so you can personally submit it to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
